Kraków City Break
Kraków is a must see place in Poland. Former capital of Poland with perfectly preserved medieval architecture and Jewish district is one of the most beautiful city in Poland, if not in Europe.
Krakow is a city of monuments, which are a testimony to the thousand years of the history of Poland. The Wawel Royal Castle with its cathedral, palaces, Gothic towers and walls, huge churches and richly ornamented tenement houses still delight today. The Old Town was one of the first urban complexes in the world to be included in the UNESCO list (1978). Krakow is a centre of culture and science with unique traditions. There are 11 universities here, headed by the Jagiellonian University (founded in 1364). There are several dozen museums, a dozen or so theatres and numerous art galleries.
Its modern atmosphere and cordiality of locals attracts millions of tourists every year.
Krakow is also a convenient starting point for excursions outside the city.
