Trains
Polish railways are modern and sometimes a better choice than travelling by air. Railway stations are usually in the centre of cities and easily available by public transport or taxis. For example, trip from Warsaw (Warszawa) to Cracow (Kraków) by trains takes under 3 hours, Warsaw (Warszawa) to Gdańsk is under 3 hours. Some lines are operated by PENDOLINO high speed train.
City transport
Public transport is very well organized in Polish cities. You will find modern network of buses, tramps and/or trolleybuses in major cities.
Taxis are easily available. Every licenced taxi car should have visible fares on the passenger window and phone number.
